Flood Risk Assessment now complete!
Over the past 6 months, a detailed investigation has taken place to establish the extent of flooding potential around Newbold Brook, within fields to the north of Wellesbourne. This hydraulic study has confirmed the extent of land that could possibly be considered for housing development at some stage in the future. The outcome of this work has been reviewed by the Environment Agency and accepted for inclusion within the Neighbourhood Plan. A copy of the report has been placed on the Neighbourhood Plan website under the ‘Links’, ‘Data Sources/References’ section with the title ‘Flood Risk Assessment Survey’.
The draft Submission Report has now been resubmitted to the Parish Council for approval prior to further progression. A copy of the current version of the Submission Report can be found on the Neighbourhood Plan website under “Reports”/Submission Report”.
Draft versions of the ‘Consultation Report’ and the ‘Basic Conditions Report’ have also been prepared. These reports respectively provide a summary of the consultation process that took place since the start of the Neighbourhood Plan and confirms that the Submission Report takes conform to the requirements specified in the District Core Strategy and National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) standard. When these two reports have been approved by the Parish Council, they will be added to the website in the “Reports” section.
